Beginning Nov. 8, Aeroplan members will have several new and unique award options from which to choose, including ski packages, an upscale heli-ski adventure trip and the chance to join the Montreal Canadiens hockey team on a road trip.
This past summer, Aeroplan for the first time offered a few non-air awards as a sort of test to gauge customer interest. Evidently, the assorted car, hotel, golf package and adventure awards were so popular, Aeroplan has decided to expand on the concept.
"Customer response during our initial test phase has been highly positive," said Rupert Duchesne, President and CEO of Aeroplan. "The introduction of these new rewards is just a start. And, it is also part of our strong commitment to become North America's leading customer loyalty program."
The new awards range in redemption cost from 25,000 miles for select ski packages to 700,000 miles for the heli-ski adventure trip. If you'd like to take the road trip with the Canadiens, it will cost you 500,000 miles and the package includes three-night accommodations, charter flight with the team, return flight on Air Canada to Montreal, tickets for two hockey games and $US1,000 spending money.
To learn more about these exciting new awards and how to redeem for them, visit hhttps://www.aeroplan.com/en/rewards/rewards_gift.jsp (though don't expect to see these new awards listed until Nov. 8). The number of rewards is limited.
