SkyTeam recently launched an upgrade program that allows frequent flyers to use their miles to upgrade to business class when flying on any of the 10 SkyTeam member airlines. Only international reservations on published, full fare economy class tickets are eligible to be upgraded with miles and codeshare flights are not allowed-the flight must be marketed and operated by the same SkyTeam carrier.
After booking an eligible flight, you will need to call your frequent flyer program award reservation line at least three days prior to departure. If upgrade seats are available, your account will be debited and your ticket will be reissued with the confirmed upgrade. The number of miles required is based on the award chart of the passenger's frequent flyer program they are using to redeem miles for an upgrade.
SkyTeam is planning on adding additional features to the upgrade program, including the ability to book upgrade awards online, include flights on Associate-operated flights and expand the criteria for upgrade-eligible flights.

This does not belong on the Qantas page since Qantas is not a member of SkyTeam.
