Just remember that Marriott uses dynamic pricing, so check award availability before buying points or applying for a card. For Hyatt, the current buy-points offer (20% discount through October 5, 2026, bringing the cost to 2.08 cents each) is less compelling unless you're booking a very expensive property. Your best bet is to combine the Hyatt promotion with a planned Latin America trip, or use Hilton's low starting rate in Vietnam for an affordable luxury stay.
