You earn 1,500 bonus points on eligible paid stays of two or more nights, and an extra 3,000 points if the stay is at a resort — so up to 4,500 points per stay. The value is modest: at 0.6 cents per point, that’s $9 for a non-resort stay and $27 at a resort. Register by November 13, 2026, and stay between September 22 and November 22. Only paid stays booked through qualifying channels count — points redemptions, free night certificates, and Cash + Points do not. And you need two consecutive nights under the same reservation; separate one-night bookings won’t trigger the bonus.

Hyatt, meanwhile, is offering double base points at Thompson Hotels through November 10, 2026. The catch: you must register and book through the World of Hyatt app — the offer does not appear on the desktop site. There’s also a cap of 30,000 bonus points, buried in the FAQ, not the main terms. Existing bookings appear to count if you register now, but the offer is limited to a set number of rooms, so availability may be tight. Only base points are doubled, and only the room you occupy counts.

Which is better? It depends on your plans. If you have a long stay at a Thompson, the Hyatt bonus could be worth significantly more than Marriott’s flat per-stay bonus, especially if you’re a high spender. But the Marriott promo is simpler, has no cap, and applies across many more properties. For both, the single most actionable step is to register immediately — you won’t remember to do it later, and the Hyatt offer requires the app. Neither promotion is a game-changer, but free points are free points.
