Question
Which New Transfer Partnerships Should I Jump On?
With Bilt adding Amtrak and Chase changing Hyatt transfers, which new partnerships and promotions should I prioritize before devaluations hit, and how do new hotel tiers affect my elite status strategy?

Let's start with the Bilt–Amtrak news. Bilt points now transfer to Amtrak Guest Rewards at 2:1, and you're the only transferable-points program with that direct line. Amtrak points are typically worth 2.5 to 2.7 cents each toward tickets, so at 2:1 you're getting about 1.25 cents per Bilt point—decent, but not spectacular. The real value comes on expensive Acela routes (NY–DC, NY–Boston) where points hold their value as cash fares spike. Also keep an eye on October Rent Day; there's a good chance Bilt runs a transfer bonus, which could bump that value well above average.
On the Chase front, the clock is ticking: if you hold a Chase Sapphire Preferred or Ink Preferred, your 1:1 Hyatt transfer ratio drops to 4:3 after September 30. That's a devaluation. If you've been sitting on Ultimate Rewards points waiting to book a Hyatt stay, move them now. Sapphire Reserve holders keep the 1:1 rate, so you can still transfer to a Reserve-holding spouse or friend if you have one. No Reserve holder in your circle? Then you'll need to decide whether Hyatt redemptions still make sense at the worse ratio.
As for hotel elite status: Hilton is teasing yet another top tier—Black Diamond—on top of the recently announced Diamond Reserve and the influencer-bait 'Honors Society.' The details are murky, but the pattern is clear: Hilton is stacking tiers above standard Diamond. If you're a credit-card Diamond, you're likely to fall further down the upgrade list. There's no action to take yet, but don't assume your current status will carry the same weight next year. Wyndham, meanwhile, has a straightforward quadruple-points promo (max 15,000 bonus points) through January 19, 2027, with extra bonuses for Insiders and cardholders—worth registering if you have any stays planned.
Bottom line
Transfer Chase points to Hyatt by September 30, watch for a Bilt–Amtrak bonus, and don't count on credit-card hotel status for upgrades much longer.
