Late-Breaking Program News Choice Credit Card Bonus

Travelers who apply for the Choice Privileges Visa Signature card before Nov. 3, 2011 can be awarded up to 24,000 bonus points after their first purchase and an additional 16,000 bonus points after their first paid stay - that's enough points for five free nights at over 1,500 Choice Hotels properties.

Cardholders will earn up to 15 points for every $1 spent at Choice Privileges locations worldwide and five points per $1 spent when you purchase Choice Privileges points or Choice Hotel gift cards. For all other purchases, cardholders will earn two points per $1 spent. Visit http://www.choicehotels.com/fivefreenights to learn more and apply for the card.

According to Greg Brown, vice president of loyalty at Choice, this is the richest bonus offer ever for the Choice credit card. You can max out at 40,000 points for the sign-on offer and that's enough for five stays at hotels available for 8,000 points. The card also offers more points per dollar spent on Choice stays - the normal rate is 10 or five points per $1 spent depending on the hotel brand, so with each Choice Privileges hotel purchase, you are getting a five-point bonus on every dollar spent.
