Virgin America Elevate has partnered with MOGL, adding a way to earn Elevate points when dining.
Here is how it works:
- sign up for both programs, Elevate and MOGL
- register a credit or debit card to the MOGL account
- dine at participating restaurants in California using the registered card for payment
- you'll earn 10 percent cash back that will automatically be exchanged every month for 30 Elevate points for each cash-back dollar you have received.
As a welcoming bonus offer, you'll get double Elevate points (60 Elevate points per $1 cash back) through Feb. 28, 2013.
San Diego alone currently has 721 participating dining establishments, Los Angeles has 241, Orange County has 162, Ventura has 226 and San Francisco has 308.
Elevate members can sign up for MOGL at http://www.webflyer.com/link/?8252

Do not be fooled by the misleading 10% cash back offer. That cash back is immediately converted to 30 points/$1 (you will never see the money), which is the same as 3 points/$1 spent.

It's not misleading. This is Virgin America's offer as it's stated in the information above. If you're not interested in the Elevate points, you can join MOGL directly.
