Asiana Club members can pool miles with up to five immediate family members, including children, parents, grandparents and grandchildren (brothers, sisters and in-laws excluded) who are enrolled in Asiana Club. Mileage pooling is only allowed to top off the mileage needed for an award ticket. Flight awards may be transferred to family members at the time of ticket issuance by showing proof of family relationship and completing an award transfer certificate. Platinum, Diamond Plus and Diamond members can transfer awards to any other Asiana Club member.

There are several online forms that can be downloaded, completed and mailed or faxed to the service center. You will need to fill out a form for upgrade requests, to request an award for someone else and to enroll in the family plan. Missing mileage requests cannot be made online. Asiana Club members can join the i-Club to receive the latest news, promotions and e-newsletters from Asiana Airlines and Asiana Club.

PLUS FEATURES:
Asiana Airlines' partnership with Star Alliance opens the door to worldwide mileage accrual and redemption. Members can pool miles between family members.

The Magic Miles program for children is a plus, although Magic Miles members only earn 75 percent of miles flown.

Members receive a 10 percent discount on flight awards for traveling companions and there is no charge for award ticket changes. The elite-level program is generous.

MINUS FEATURES:
Although five years is long enough for most members to earn an award ticket before they expire, miles do have a shelf life and will disappear if unused.

Mileage redemptions are limited to flight awards and only Korean-speaking members can redeem miles online. For non-elite members, flight awards can only be transferred to family members.
