Total Membership:
The number of members in millions in the associated program.
Free Awards Redeemed:
The number of free travel awards that were used for travel on the associated airline in the year specified (not to be confused with the number of miles that were redeemed). These figures are obtained from the 10-K reports that the airlines file with the SEC each year.
% Change from Previous Year:
The percentage of increase or decrease in the number of awards redeemed as compared to the previous year.
Free Awards as a % of RPMs (Revenue Passenger Miles):
Of all the seats occupied over the course of the year in the airlinešs entire route system, this is the percentage of seats that were occupied by passengers flying on a free award ticket. These figures are obtained from the 10-K reports that the airlines file with the SEC each year.
Outstanding Award Liability:
The amount of free awards outstanding OR the liability in dollars as calculated by the associated airline (not to be confused with the number of miles outstanding). These figures are obtained from the 10-K reports that the airlines file with the SEC each year.
